“I’ve spent much of my life in small towns, places in the South, Midwest, and on the other side of the Atlantic, where I am now. When I began work on my first novel—Legacy on Trial–I was practicing law in Georgia, calling home to a small town that sits near the southern edge of the state. That novel ended up taking to a fictional home in the same region, a Blake County that’s inspired by the terrain and places found throughout parts of South Georgia.
